Oh Life

I feel a little lost right now. I don't know what God wants. I don't know what direction I'm suppose to go in, as far as decisions for my future. Like what should I major in? What job carer?.... All things like that. I feel like sometimes I can't get a break. Like it's always one thing after another. I know it's for a reason and all that. It's learning experiences but it's sometimes frustrating. I'm trying to be patient. I want his will and I know it's worth it to be patient. I just feel like everything is way to uncertain.

MY younger brother and his wife had their baby last thursday (9-15-11). He's named after my brother. Ryan Blake Frisby Jr. His nickname: RJ. He's pretty stinkin adorable!

I like to sew and do crafty things. I've posted a few pictures here of some stuff I've made. For some of this I wish I had pictures of the work in process so I could write a tutorial but I don't... 

MY friend Timothy came up with this idea. He bought a plain black comforter (its actually reversible, the other side is gray) and an orange sheet. He had me make this strip out of the sheet and sew it to the comforter. It turned out really, really great! On a side note this is his collage dorm room. I find it very odd that his roommate's bed is like 5in over his. 

I made this clutch a few months ago. I used a sewing machine. It was the first clutch I've made and was experimental but it turned out pretty good. 

I made this one a few months ago as well. It took about 4 hours and is done by hand. It's my favorite!

This clutch was sewn by machine. My friend alex made it with my help. It's super simple and major easy to make.

HEllo everyone and welcome to my blog. Basically this here blog is about life. I'll post about whats happening in my life, things I LOVE and things I don't don't really love.... 


A few of my favorite things: Reading. Music. Painting. Sewing. Drawing. Writing. Singing. Picture taking. Playgrounds. 


A little about me: I was definitely born in the wrong time. I love anything vintage and old. Right now Im really digging 40's and 50's. Pretty much anything from that era, the clothes, hairstyles, cars, furniture... I could go on and on and on. Im a very crafty person. I love to sew and paint and do anything along those lines. At some point I'm going to create an Etsy site to sell everything on, so get excited! I'm definitely gonna post some about some of my crafty things and also tutorials on how to make what I make. My goal is to post at least once a week. I'm currently in collage so I'm really busy. But Im gonna try my hardest. 


Lately I've been thinking about art or design school. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly God has for me and if that something that fits in that plan... Im not sure. One thing for sure is that I love kids! And I know for sure that I want to work with kids as a career. For the longest time I thought I want to be a teacher but I've changed that recently. I've felt my heart being lead somewhere else. But if I did do the teaching thing I'd teach art. But we'll see what happens...

I currently work at an elementary school. Im a teacher in an extended daycare program. Basically it's like an after school daycare. I have kindergarten and pre-k kids in my group. Ages 4-6. I love it! What job is better than getting to play with kids all day? I guess your not suppose to have favorites... but i do. They're the cutest things ever!
